Grinch vs the Golden Boy

T'was the night before Christmas and not all were sleeping...Paul & I were getting ready to wrap the hallway doorway with wrapping paper when Jacob finishes using the bathroom and peaks his head around the corner.

He sees the fireplace void of stockings and says, "It looks like Santa already came!" then looks on the couch for filled stocking. When he didn't see any I said, "The grinch must have taken the stockings."

"Why is Elizabeth's still here?" he asked.

"Because she has someone guarding her stocking!" was my reply.

Next year everyone may have a golden boy in their stocking!
