One Regret
With 5 kiddos, 4 of which are school age we have a lot of school projects that come and go through this house. There is a lot of time, effort, sweat & tears in behalf of said projects. I have come to realize that I have one regret with regards to these projects . . .
. . . that I did not take a picture of the finished product to document all of the hard work & creativity. Like Elizabeth's 6th grade desert biome diorama with awesome animals that she sculpted out of clay. Or Rachel's 4th grade county project, where she created her own country & had to build a model of something from the country; she built a castle out of LEGOS. To my defense I am generally so tired of hearing about the project & nagging about them that I am just ecstatic to get them out of my house.
I have tried to do a little better and as I was scrolling through past pictures I found these:
2nd grade "Vocabulary parade"
1st grade Robot parade
Rachel's 5th grade science fair project
This wasn't a school project, but a FHE lesson project. I know right? With all of these school projects why would I give my kids a project to do for home. No grade! Just the joy of learning. ;)
Lehi's vision of the Tree of Life
Even participation in church activities has caused us to do "projects".
Cub Scout Blue & Gold cake decorating 2016
We would have to open a small museum if we were to keep the actual project, but really after all the hard work we put in I need to get pictures so my kiddos can show their kiddos the cool things that they did when they were kids. I vow to do better!
