Thankful Moments with my Boys

Every now & then there are moments so funny, so precious that they deserve to be captured & recorded so that you can always remember them. Here are a few from my boys recently:

John was in my bathroom taking a bath when all of a sudden I heard him let out a loud cry of panic & great distress. When I ran in there I found that his bath was being overtaken by bubbles & the poor kiddo didn't know how to make the growing bubbles stop!

When you find yourself battling with a 2 year old to take off his wet undies (after a month of potty training) and are met with this sad face followed by screams you know it is time to end the battle. Diapers here we come!!!

Jacob kindly put himself down for a nap "during" lunch while I visited with my Aunt Judy who stopped in from out of town.

A conversation with John - -
M: What do you want to be when you grow up?
J: I want to be myself!

I have a little Forrest Gump on my hands. This morning on my walk Jacob kept asking to get out of the stroller & walk. After much nagging I let him. He proceeded to run the rest of the way home (over a mile), stopping only to look at the addresses painted on the curbs. When we got home I was a little out of breath from trying to keep up but he was full of energy & ready for more.
