Strong Family Vacation 2015: Sand Hallow
Our last adventure for the week was a trip to Sand Hallow Reservoir. It was to be a morning of playing in the sand, sun, water & making a few more memories together.
It proved to be just that!
As I watched all of the cousins play together it struck me that we don't need big elaborate expensive vacations to amusement parks or fancy places.
They had SOOO much fun digging in the sand burring one another & splashing one another.
They were together, undistracted from glowing screens, enjoying each other & making some pretty amazing memories together.
Even though this may not have been on their list of things they wanted to do while in St. George I guarantee they will remember this outing for a long time.
When they think about our day at Sand Hallow they will have a smile on their face & maybe even the smile will be accompanied by a little chuckle as they remember the good times that we had.
It was a wonderful, cool & refreshing way to end a very hot week of vacationing.
It was also one of the few times that the adults had a chance to "play" with one another & create a few memories of their own.
Nothing like watching four siblings relive their childhood as they encouraged each other to jump off into the water. It is a rare occurrence that Paul & all of his siblings get to enjoy time with one another.
Thank you Strong's for a wonderful last day together!
Until next time . . . . . .
