Lake Havasu

I got a two for one deal when we ended our family vacation: I sent to of my kiddos to Utah with Paul's sister in exchange for her sending one of her kiddos to my house for a week! Which meant Sarah & Rachel were able to spend a fun filled week at the Jesse's & Breanna was able to spend a hot not so fun week with the Strong's. Ok, it was a little fun or at least there was fun mingled in with all of my laundry (we just got home from vacation) & craziness (Paul being out of town).

 

We did manage to make a trip early one morning to Lake Havasu so that Breanna could see the London Bridge,

 

and explore the old English Village.

I'm not real sure what she thought of it all, but I know she was hot! We all were hot, even at 9 in the morning!

 

Not sure why, or how, but this was the first time my kiddos have been to the English Village too.

We all enjoyed splashing around in the cool lake after our walk to the bridge.

My favorite part of the adventure was watching Jacob with the ducks! He thought these little feathery things were just the very best. We will be back in the fall with a loaf of bread.
