Oh No!!!!!

Jacob is known around our house as "Jacob the Explorer" because he spends the majority of his days wandering around the house exploring and seeing what he can find.  Every cupboard in the kitchen except one now has child locks on it.  We have installed a gate that leads into the hallway leading to the girls' rooms and the bathroom.  Just when I thought our house was Jacob proofed he gained a new skill.

 

He can open doors!! thanks to these silly lever handles, (clearly someone with small children did not build our house). 

Now I frequently find him in my bedroom talking on the phone, in my bathroom emptying the drawers & rearranging the shampoo bottles in the shower, carrying around containers of dehydrated refried beans & pancake batter that he confiscated from the pantry and even following the big kids to the backyard without Mom's permission.

Note to self: teach kiddos, husband & self to keep the doors locked when not in use! Send Paul to Home Depot to get round handles for the pantry & laundry room!
