My Boys

For the last year I have received countless comments from people asking if John is excited to have a brother. To be honest he has always loved his sisters and never felt like he was missing out on anything, living with a house full of girls.  In fact I think there has been an overload of jealousy that the brother has taken all of mom's time and annoyance that the brother wants to touch his precious cars, to even entertain the emotion of excitement.

A typical day is filled with hearing Jacob cry because John has pushed him over, given him an intense bear hug, or attempts to wrestle, to name a few.  I have often wondered, "Will they ever be friends?"

Yesterday, I was blessed with precious sight at the "pond". . .

 . . . and then again at the "play ground" . . .

. . . maybe they will be friends after all!

Those are tender moments. May they become more, and may John learn to moderate his physical hugs.
