Sand & Surf

To mix up things a bit during our week in California, we (Paul's siblings and their families) took a break after the first day of Disney to visit the beach. My kids were as excited to visit the beach as they were Disneyland; they love the sand and the waves! 

 

Even Jacob got to put his little tootsies in the sand and water and thought it was pretty cool.

My sister-in-law, Kasey, and her kiddos drove down from Phelan to meet us at the beach.  Unfortunately due to us leaving later than planned and then getting lost on the way to the beach we were able to spend just a few minutes with them before they had to leave and head home. 

It was a beautiful day for the beach and so much fun to watch the kids play in the water and dig in the sand with their Strong cousins. You know it is a good beach day when your kids fall asleep on the way home . . .
