Look Who's 2 Months

Before Jacob is 3 months old I better post these pictures and give some updates on our sweet little boy.

 

For awhile everyone who saw Jacob commented on how big he was. I was beginning to take offense at everyone saying I had a big baby and then reality hit . . . he is big!  At his 2 month doctor appointment he weighed 12lbs 11oz (75th percentile) and measured 24.25 inches (90th percentile).  When compared to the size of my other kiddos at 2 months he is bigger too.  So I guess he is a big boy but is healthy and doing great!

With my other kiddos I found myself wishing that they would grow up and move on to the next stage, but with Jacob I find myself wishing he would just stay little and cuddly forever.  We are starting to see a personality emerge (so fun) . . . he is a very sweet and content little guy.  He doesn't care so much about being held, but instead wants to look at your face and be talked to; he works hard to have it be a two way conversation.  He loves to eat and loves to chill in his swing (it's his happy place).  Anytime now I expect he will start laughing at his sisters (Elizabeth & Rachel), he loves them the very best, next in line is Dad.  If Paul walks by and only says a simple "hello Jacob", Jacob will fuss until Paul comes back and talks to him some more.

I would love to spend all day playing with this little guy (I would have some jealous kiddos on my hands, more than I already do, if I did).
