Lake Havasu & the London Bridge

On our Thanksgiving adventure we lead an expedition to Lake Havasu City to visit the famous London Bridge.  No trip near water would be complete with out a little rock throwing.

When the kids started throwing rocks in the water, the ducks started coming.  They came in large amounts, I'm sure thinking they would be fed some lovely bread crumbs.  I'm sure they were greatly disappointed to find there was no tasty treat waiting them.  If I had known there would be so many ducks we would have brought some bread.

Have you ever tried to get 14 kids on one playground all to fit in one picture, and looking at the camera? . . .  Not an easy task.

The weather was perfect, notice some kiddos wearing shorts.  We all enjoyed a walk along the channel to the London Bridge, chatting and visiting as we went.

This outing was Grandma Sue's idea and I believe was enjoyed by all.  Her one regret was that we hadn't gone earlier in the day to enjoy the beautiful weather, scenery and company longer.
