Natures Playground
Over the last month Paul and the kids have found themselves a new playground. It started out as a husband's kind gesture to give his pregnant, tired wife a break from two very active children on the weekend.
Or maybe he had an arterial motive, to find rocks for his new hobby, rock polishing.
No matter what the reason I have been grateful for a few days to get somethings accomplished at home with less kids or no kids around. And I know the kids are always grateful for a fun filled day with Dad. (He's a lot nicer and more fun than me.)
And we all know that John is always excited for a trip to the river to throw rocks.
Their last couple of adventures even proved great for swimming. (I did join them on the most recent trip, it was a lot of fun). If you get down to Bullhead City/the Colorado River early in the morning, there are very few people, if any, and the river is very low. Low enough that there are fun little pools of water for the kids to play and swim in. Plus it makes for a larger selection of rocks to choose from.
Thank you Paul for being such a great Dad and helping our kiddos love to enjoy nature's playground!
