And It Continues . . .

A few weeks ago, Paul mentioned something to me about crayon in the bathtub.  What??  I walk into the kids bathroom and this is what I found . . .

The graffiti artist had tagged her work, so I knew instantly who to beckon into the bathroom.  When I had the culprit in the bathroom the interrogation began.  "What did you do?" I asked.  She was so proud of her art work.  "What did you draw this with?" was my next question.  "With bathtub crayons," she said.  "We don't have any of those," was my response (we used to but they have long been gone). "Show me what you used!"  Out from behind the bottles of shampoo and soap Sarah pulled three crayons that are in plastic holders.

"Uh, those are not bathtub crayons young lady."  "Oh," was her response.  "Let's clean it up," I said in a calm voice that amazed me as I heard the words come out of my mouth.

FYI: crayon come off a bathtub and shower walls amazingly easy.  Even Sarah was able to scrub things clean.

Today on the way home from taking the kids to school I smelled this odd but familiar smell in the car.  I looked in the backseat and Sarah was painting her toe nails.  Why did she have nail polish in the van?  Can you just envision the disaster if I had to stop suddenly or if she dropped the bottle?  Oh, boy!!!

As I was uploading pictures for this blog post I found this picture as well . . .

In case you can't see it, she had drawn all over her Capri's with a pink ball point pen.  How did I forget about that?

I'm beginning to get a little worried as to what adventures lay in store once the baby comes and I have to spend large amounts of time feeding and changing diapers.
