London Bridge in NOT Falling Down
Just about a hour away in Lake Havasu City, AZ there is a world famous landmark, the London Bridge.
The authentic bridge that once was in London, England. The bridge that I remember singing about as a child with friends as we played a little game about the bridge falling down. Well it's not falling down anymore. It was sold to a gentlemen who had is dismantled brick by brick and shipped to Lake Havasu City where is was reassembled. I remember going there as a teenager and there wasn't a whole lot around the bridge, things have sure changed.
Last month on our way home from California (where we went for my nephew Jace's baptism) we decided to take a little detour and visit this historical landmark. We had a wonderful time! We ate a picnic lunch of Little Caesar's Pizza at a park within walking distance of the bridge and where we enjoyed a beautiful and relaxing view.
The kids loved collecting rocks, throwing them in the lake, playing on the playgrounds. . .
. . . and tolerated a walk along the lake that eventually led us under the London Bridge.

The best part, as usual, was experiencing something new TOGETHER!
