Fun & Funny Happenings at the Strong's

There is one thing I know for sure about my family and our home, there is never a dull moment!  Just when I think that we are boring and life feels mundane some member of the family proves me wrong, usually it is one of the kids.  Their creativity and imaginations are amazing!  Add a sense of humor to that and I have four kiddos who know how to be kids;  they know how to have fun being kids! And occasionally Mom and Dad get in on the action too.

Unknown to most Paul has a hot chocolate habit that he feeds almost daily. Sadly for him he has two kiddos that love hot chocolate as much as he does (the sad part is that he has to share his precious hot cocoa).

On laundry day Sarah had stolen one of my knee highs from the sorting pile and decided to use it as a "bag" to carry around all of her little treasures. King of reminds me of a hobo or a bag lady.

For Valentine's Day Elizabeth wanted to have another tea party. She went to great efforts to plan the menu and make us each a handmade place mat.

Recently we bought John a ball pit, unfortunately we don't have any balls for it yet, so we filled it with stuffed animals. He loves it! I sort of tease that it is his "Happy Place". A real dream come true for him, to be surrounded by piles of stuff!

On that same laundry day Elizabeth pulled all of Paul's socks from the sorting pile and donned them on hands and feet.

She tucked them in around her middle (8 in all) and danced around the house pretending she was a spider.

For a long time now Paul and the kids like to make Lego towers as tall as they can to see if they can make it touch the ceiling. They had success!

I was in my closet getting ready for church one Sunday, and Paul's walks in and says I think I will wear my tie like this today! I looked at him real puzzled and asked are you really? Then couldn't contain the laughter any longer.

Do you ever wonder what is going through someones mind when they do such funny things?

Thank you for sharing...i think i will post a few funny things going on in the Jessee house.
By the way, my dad is also obsessed with hot chocolate. And if you want some balls for John's thing we have a whole box.
