I always love the feeling of being able to cross something off of my to-do list, especially when the to-do list is quite long. Which is the case for our home improvement to-do list. This particular item has been patiently waiting since early last fall, when we bought the paint. It has taken until after Christmas for us to have enough free time all in a row to get the job done. It has probably been the biggest undertaking thus far. We have painted all the doors in the house, the master bedroom and master bath. I can honestly say "we" because I actually helped this time. A little with the primer and I offered to do the big job of painting the trim work. I didn't realize how out of shape I was until I could hardly walk the next day because my legs were so sore from squatting down.
Our house was in a bit of disarray fro a while as we turned the dinning room into our bedroom, our bedroom into a spray booth for the doors, which meant no doors for a couple of days anywhere throughout the house. The end result was well worth the chaos.

Despite all the hard work we are excited to start on the next project . . . we just have to decide which one to do first.
