Primary Calling

It didn't take long after being in our new ward that I was called to serve in the Primary Presidency.  One of the responsibilities that I have been asked to do is "teacher appreciation".  I know that there is nothing mentioned in the Church handbook about teacher appreciation but our presidency wants to do something nonetheless.

With this said, I am writing this post to any of you family/friends who also may be in a Primary Presidency (or who serve in the primary or who have primary age children).  To go along with the 2012 Primary theme I am having made some ink pens with the following logo imprinted on the barrel, to give to our teachers and those who sub in primary through out the 2012 year.

I had to order significantly more than our ward needed and am looking for a home for the remainder of my order.  The pens are those promotional type (like at a hotel) that have a removable lid (which will be green).  The pens cost $ .15 a piece.  If anyone is interested please let me know, you can leave a comment, email me or call me.  I have about 400 that I need to find a home for, so spread the word.  Thanks!

I think that would make a great Christmas gift for the kids to give to their primary teachers or kids in their class (they usually give a candy cane). I will take 30 off your hands!

200 for My sister and I

I am excited!
Just learned about your recent calling to the Primary!!!!!!!!!!! That is the best organization to be apart of, especially with the age your children. I loved my years in Primary...to be with the children and the Primary songs.
Buffie Beach is in 5th Ward Primary Presidency. I'll ask her about the pens.
