Happy New Year!

The other day my kids were watching the Winnie the Pooh Christmas movie, and in it Christopher Robin mentions something about having a New Years Resolution.  His friends from the Hundred Acre Woods try to figure out what a "Rusty-tution" is. Finally it is explained to them that a resolution is something that you promise not to do that you use to do or something that you promise to do that you haven't done before.  With this simple definition rolling around in my head I have come up with two New Years Rusty-tutions.  I choose to call them rusty-tutions because they are things I used to do but have become very rusty about; rusty physically and rusty spiritually.  The demands of everyday life have gotten in the way and these two things have a tendency to get put off or done without the intent they deserve.  They are nothing original, or creative but just things I used to love to do but have become rusty with -- Exercise & Scripture Study!

I don't usually share my New Years Resolutions but if I seem to be missing in action on sharing my Thankful Moments I wanted you to know why . . . it is because I am still a bit "rusty". Entering the world of blog land is going to be my reward for a job well done in tending to my physical and spiritual rust.
