Puke and Poop
Our house is an infirmiry these days. It began with Sarah on Saturday night then spread to Mom, John, Rachel, Elizabeth and even Paul. Needless to say everyone is home today. We are creating a new saying,
"The family that pukes and poops together stay together!" :)
As I was up nearly every 20 minutes with some kiddo last night I began to make a list in my mind, a list of all the things I am grateful for:
* indoor plumbing * toilets * washing machines * dryers * plastic bowels * towels (lots of towels) * disposable diapers * baby wipes * bendy straws * sippy cups with lids for the bendy straws * TV * DVD player * DVDs * couch bid enough for all the sick kids * Resolve spot carpet cleaner * Glade carpet & room odor eliminator * scented candles * plastic grocery bags * a wet wash cloth on your forehead after you throw up * a husband who is willing to do laundry, clean up throwup and change millions of diapers * a husband who can easily take a day off work * prayer * priesthood blessings *
I'm sure there are many more things to add to my list but I'm most grateful that we live in the time and location of the world we do so I can be grateful for all the things above!
