Natural Bridge
Last summer we discovered Pickett State Park in Tennessee. It is a beautiful area close to home where we can hike, explore and enjoy being with one another.
We have decided that every chance we get (when the weather cooperates) we are going to pick a trail and head out.
Our hike began by walking across this "bridge". It is really the top of a natural arch. Perhaps if we walk across enough arches my fear of heights may just subside.
When it was time to go John threw a tantrum and Rachel asked, "When can we find another arch to play under?"
We are very happy that our kids inherited the "outside gene" and enjoy hiking, even though two of them are afraid of bugs. I hope we have many more fun hikes this summer!
