Let's Celebrate!
Last Thursday was an exciting day worthy of celebration in the Strong house . . .
. . . Elizabeth got her cast off!!! And to celebrate the occasion on Friday we had a water party.
Complete with slip-n-slide,
soaking in the pool (and water table),
and water balloons!
The kids were all very excited to finally be able to play in the water again. While Elizabeth had her cast the whole family took a recess from water play, so as not to leave Elizabeth out of all the fun, or risk her soaking her cast.
I think this was the first time that Elizabeth & Rachel actually used the slip-n-slide the way it was meant to used . . .
. . . to run and slide.
We are grateful Elizabeth's arm healed well and quickly. Her cast came off just in time for our big summer vacation and in time for her baptism.
