And It Just Keeps Coming . . .
Last fall the "old timers" around here were predicting that we would have a "bad" winter. They made their predictions based on the woolly worms.
Well, those old fashion weather predictions have come true! My kids have not had a full week of school since before Christmas! After today I believe we have had 11 days cancelled for snow.
I have come to understand why kids go to school in the winter and have the summers off. Kids go bonkers when they are inside for too long, too many days in a row. Yes, we have had snow, but only a couple days has there been enough snow to play in.
Most days the wind chill makes it unbearable to go outside. So when the kids go bonkers Mom can't help put polish off a whole bag of cinnamon hearts and half a box of chocolates.
