What Are They Eating?

Elizabeth, Sarah and John were able to enjoy a rare treat at our house this morning. Any guesses as to what they are eating?

Ice Cream? Cream of Wheat? Whip Cream? Powdered Sugar?

Nope, Nope, Nope and Nope!

They are each eating a bowl full of freshly fallen powdery snow. Crazy Kids!

What kind of responsible parent would let their children do that?

We woke up this morning to 5 inches of snow. And we have had another inch already today. This storm cancelled school yesterday, even though we did not have a flake of snow fall until 8pm. That's what happens when you live in a place where people have a phobia of snow and not enough snowplows to go around.

But I am loving every minute of this beautiful white fluffy gift from the sky. And will enjoy this rare treat for as long as it lasts!

of course you eat it! That is exactly what you are suppose to do! Just most people do not put it in a bowl! That is super cute!

We used to add some milk and sugar and a little vanilla and make homemade icecream, or so we thought.
