"I'm a Big Girl"
Let me introduce each of you to my aspiring young computer girl, Sarah. She is always wanting to type on the computer and I decided to go ahead and let her.
One night as Daddy was putting me to bed I kept climbing into John's bed before Daddy could pick me up and put me in that cage they call a crib. And to my surprise and delight Daddy let me stay there and John had to sleep in the cage that night. My crazy big brother actually wanted to sleep in the crib. After a few nights of this Daddy turned the crib into a bed for me. He's pretty cool that way.
But do you know what, I still did not want to sleep in it. I wanted to sleep in the "big kid" bed with no bars on the sides. And what luck, John still wanted the one with the bars. So after Daddy would put us to bed at night we would get out of bed and switch places, we're so sneaky.
Mommy finally just switched the blankets around so we each could have our things in the bed we liked best.
There is one down side of all of this . . . Mommy said if I am going to be a big girl in a big kid bed then I don't get my binki anymore. I don't like that one bit. She said we were going to give the binki to Santa so he could give it to a baby for Christmas.
So now Santa Ho-Ho-Ho has my binki. I hope some baby out there enjoys it as much as I did! Merry Christmas!
