Bringing in the New Year!
We actually decided to celebrate New Years this year, specially designed for Elizabeth and Rachel to enjoy their first New Years Eve celebration.
Our evening started by turning the bare Christmas tree into a "New Years" tree. Complete with ribbons, jewels, and a very appropriate tree topper, pink Sharpay sun glasses (keep reading to understand).

I sent the kids to the dress-up box to put on their "party clothes".
The party began with party games of course, an energetic round of Hullabaloo.

We worked up an appetite, so we dug into the snacks. Each person got to pick their snack of choice for the evening.

To pass the time until the "main event" began we had a dance party, rockin' out to Radio Disney tunes.
The "main event" was a High School Musical movie marathon, with an opening short film of Dora the Explorer.

Paul was the only one who stayed awake to see all three episodes of High School Musical and welcome in the New Year. Oh well, Happy New Year anyway!!
