We're Painting Again!
We have spent yet another weekend painting. This time it was the master bath. You know, Paul is really getting very quick at masking everything off and quite adept with the paint brush and roller. Somehow he managed to get this room done without any help from our two budding artist.
When we were deciding on a color for the bathroom, we stumbled upon the paint chip that matched the existing color, "Quiet Mint". See I do live in a carton of mint chocolate chip ice cream, minus the chocolate chips. This family doesn't function very well without their chocolate chips. I'm serious, the cashier at the grocery store laughs at me when I buy 10 bags of chocolate chips at a time and tell her it is what I give my kids instead of candy.
Back to painting . . .
We are still green but a much more inviting shade of green.
We have really enjoyed painting and adding color to half of the house so far. We have great plans for the rest of the house, but haven't figured out how we will keep the little fingers off the freshly painted walls. We will either have to lock them in their rooms for the weekend, or ship them off somewhere. So for now we are done painting, and turning our efforts to remodeling the garden.
