Graffiti in the dryer

My very nice husband started doing the laundry the other day while he was on Daddy duty. He went to get a load out of the dryer and found this graffiti all over the dryer.


The clothes that were in the dryer looked much like the dryer drum. Paul was perplexed as to what had been the cause, he first thought maybe I had left chap stick in a pocket. After some searching through the clothes, he found the culprit.

A nice fat permanent red marker that had been left in a pocket of pants he wore to work. After finding it he said, "I was wondering where my red pen had gone." Well he found it!

I guess we are just grateful one of the kids did not find the red marker and graffiti the walls. And now I have an excuse to go shopping and buy new clothes!

I am soooo sorry! I know how that is. Our dryer was burning our clothes, that is one of the main reasons we had to get a new one.... yuck!

try using a can of lysol disinfectant spray. it's the one in the yellow can. my child took a red sharpi marker to a brand new couch and it disolved the color instantly. i was totally amazed.

After 80 years on earth my Dad's body continues to be strong (mostly) while his memory continues to fade.   There are moments in life when you realize just how blessed you are... celebrating my mom's 80th birthday recently was one of those moments!! Over the years we have moved away from one another, haven't always stayed in close contact with everyone but being together I felt the love that comes from being family! To my mom family is everything and it is her love for us individually that radiates and unites those around her! My mom is a little energizer bunny sharing, serving, living, loving, experiencing, adventureing and enjoying every moment of every day! She definitely is not 80 years old but 80 years loved!!!
