My Great Idea!
Every month I read in "Parent's" amgazine all those cool ideas that Moms have come up with. And I always think I should be able to come up with something. An added bonus is they pay you $25 if they publish your idea.
As John was coloring the other day I realized I do have a great idea (at least I think so). I took this picture intending to submit it to the magazine, but knowing how my life goes I may never get around to it. So at least I will post it here and you all can see my inventive idea.
When John colors he spends more time playing with the crayons than making marks on the paper. His favorite thing to do is to roll the crayons accross the table and of course they fall on the floor. Then Sarah comes along and eats them or I am at a made dash to pick them all up. To solve my problem I line an old cookie sheet with paper and let John have fun.

John can now roll his crayons until his hearts content. He can even dump all of them out and they don't go everywhere. For an added bonus: the paper stays put and he is not tempted to "fly" the paper to the floor resulting in the table being used to color on.
Pretty cool idea, Huh? I heard once that "desperation is the mother of invention," I believe it is true!
